Hi, my name is Joe.
I’m a bassist living in Baltimore, MD. I teach music lessons, perform in bands, and record bass in the studio.
I love playing and listening to all kinds of music. As a teenager I took lessons on bass guitar, joined my middle and high school jazz bands, played in rock bands with friends, and started gigging on weekends with my father who is also a musician. Playing with real working musicians at a young age taught me many valuable lessons that I still carry with me today.
I began teaching music lessons in 2004. I earned a B.A. in Music Composition in 2008 and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in American Contemporary Music Composition in 2010 from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

I’m available to record in-studio for your next project. I’m also able to record from home. I use high quality instruments and equipment. Logic Pro is my DAW of choice.
